Rapper Wale Days after Nigerians dragged Wale on Twitter over his questionable reaction to Wizkid’s international breakthrough the MMG rapper Wale revealed he is working with Wizkid on a new collaborative project. Maybe to prove that he is on good terms with the Star Boy singer he will be featuring him in his much anticipated album, #Shine. He made this announcement via his Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, music site Genius tweeted that Wizkid had become the first Nigerian artist to make the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Wale had a slightly questionable reaction to that report: he replied with a thinking face emoji, a move Nigerians perceived as shade thrown to the Star Boy.

Many of Wizkid fans dragged him on social media while some alleged he had previously refused to claim his heritage and was only doing so because Nigerian home-based singers are gaining global recognition.
