Nigeria’s former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has debunked rumours that he is not pleased with President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list.
According to Daily Post, Atiku stressed that he is happy with the proposed ministers as they provide him with the hope and belief that the country is on the right path.
The former vice president, stated this on Thursday, October 22, in Kano through Alhaji Muhammadu Abdullahi Sugar, the Chairman of Atiku Loyalist Group.
He expressed optimism that the would-be Ministers will place the country above any interests in the course of the discharge of their duties, adding that they are the true agents of change which the country needs.
Sequel to the ministerial screening at the Senate session on Thursday, October 22, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers state eulogized the sparkling performance of the immediate past governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi at the Senate today.
The former governor has left no one in doubt of how eminently qualified he is to become a Minister.
