The Edo Grassroots Mass Movement, EGMM with thousands of its supporters across the state, has endorsed the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu for the governorship of the state. National Coordinator of the group, Mr, Collins Omosigho, who disclosed this, in Benin, while speaking with journalists, said having seen the achievements of the Oshiomhole administration in the last eight years.

It was their belief that it was only Pastor Ize-Iyamu that can move the state forward from where his predecessor stopped. Ize-Iyamu, who was also endorsed, yesterday, as the candidate of the Electrical Dealers Association of Nigeria, Edo state branch at a meeting held at their Igbesanwan Street secretariat in Benin City, assured traders of the state of an economic environment where they would be able to make enough profit.

Ize-Iyamu commended the former SDP leader for his support and solidarity as he assured voters at the rally that he will keep faith with all his electoral promises, if elected. Ize-Iyamu had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of South Ibie at Iyakpi and held a rally in front of his palace before other campaigns at Apana and Udaba, both in Etsako west and east local government areas, respectively.
