Ekweremadu, 7 Other Senators Visits Boko Haram’s Den

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu is expected to visit Adamawa State today, August 5, 2015 along with some of his colleagues.

The lawmakers are expected to visit Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in the state.

The purpose of the Senators’ trip is to enable them gather first-hand information on the activities of Boko Haram insurgents in the North East.

Seven Senators who will accompany Ekweremadu to Adamawa are:

  1. Ahmed Lawan, (Yobe North)

  2. Murtala Nyako, (Adamawa Central)

  3. Binta Garba, (Adamawa North),

  4. Ahmadu Abubakar, (Adamawa South)

  5. George Sekibo, (Rivers East),

  6. Bala Ibn Na’Allah (Kebbi South)

  7. Bashir Marafa (Taraba State)
