‘Jonathan Has Nothing To Fear Under My Administration’ – Buhari

Nigeria’s president-elect Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday sought to reconcile past differences with incumbent Goodluck Jonathan, extending a hand of friendship to his beaten election opponent.

“Let me state clearly: President Jonathan has nothing to fear from me,” he said in Abuja after his victory was confirmed in the early hours. “He is a great Nigerian and still our president.”

He added: “Democracy and the rule of law will be established in the land. Let’s put the past behind us, especially the recent past. We must forget our old battles and past grievances and forge ahead.”

  1. Not only that Debra, but I seem to remember a daily body count of American’s and civaliin casualties run 24/7 on the leftwing media when Bush was in office, they have seldom even mention the 3 wars in the past 2 years. The marxist media has no compassion for our military or Christians, the only time they would ever consider a story about the slaughter of Christians is that the story would somehow benefit the democrat party or the medias leftwing ideology and agenda
