NEMESIS: Read What Happened To 2 Robbers In Delta

Two robbers have been killed as they tried to escape from a robbery scene in Asaba, the Delta state capital on Tuesday, August 4, the police has said.

The police, according to PM News, said this in a statement released by the police spokesperson, Celestina Kalu.

Mrs Patience Okaka had reported at the police station situated at GRA that four armed robbers had attacked her in her home.

“She said the hoodlums gained entrance into her bedroom by pulling down the burglary proof in the window.

“The victim also said the criminals succeeded in robbing her of her wrist watches, cell phones, clothes and electronics.’’

The robbers subsequently went away with the victim’s Honda Acura car.

Upon receiving the report, the police patrol van went after them.

On sighting the policemen, the robbers were said to have opened fire and the policemen retaliated. Two of the robbers died while the other two were said to have abandoned the vehicle and fled.

The police promised to track the two robbers who are still on the run.

Meanwhile, a gang of armed robbers unleashed terror on a bridal train killing the video-camera man, official photographers and wounding others in Mgbuishi, Imo state.
