Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and his son, Yusuf have visited his farm in Daura, Katshiina state.
President Buhari has arrived his home town for the one-month long Ramadan fast, which started on June 18, Thursday.
Nigeria’s leader travelled in company of Kaduna state governor Mallam Nasir El-rufai and other dignitaries. Top shots in the Katsina’s political circle and religious leaders were said to have besieged the president’s home to welcome him.
Buhari is a devoted Muslim from Nigeria’s North.
It was reported that the retired general, while announcing his assets, said he had approximately 150 cows.
The president has very modest residence which is painted white and does not attract much attention.
Yusuf Buhari, the son of country’s president, appeared in public for the first time a day before father’s inauguration.
He has arrived in the country from the United Kingdom together with Muhammadu Buhari in the early hours of May 28.
Yusuf bears a striking similarity to his father, his first appearance breaks hearts of Nigerians women.
