Cleric Christopher Owolabi of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Kwara state has prophesied that there will be rapid socio-economic development in Nigeria under Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Owolabi made the prediction during a specially organised Saturday prayer, Vanguard reports.
He stressed that the new president needed prayer, cooperation and support to ensure the highly expected change.
He was quoted as saying:
“This second coming of the newly sworn-in President Muhammadu Buhari, no doubt, is clearly a divine intervention as revealed by God to salvage Nigeria’s battered socio-economic and security.
“It is only left for us as citizens and non citizen alike to be alive to our responsibilities by giving the necessary supports needed by this administration to succeed.”
The CAC cleric who had previously predicted the emergence of Bukola Saraki as the next Senate president and Hon Femi Gbajabiamila as House of Representative speaker, confirmed the prophecy.
Owolabi noted that the upcoming appointments were about God’s will, not his personal preferences.
“No matter any act of political commission or omission, God is the one presently in control and directing the affairs of the country.”
In a separate development, Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, said on May 30 at the National Christian Centre that God had chosen the APC leaders to bring prosperity to the country.
