The richest woman in Nigeria, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija turned 65 over the weekend. She is a business tycoon who has her hands in oil and printing industries. She decided to throw herself a lavish birthday party to celebrate adding another year. Mrs. Alakija looked years younger than her age in her eye-catching outfit was seen smiling in all her pictures and having a good time.
Distinguished guests included first lady of Lagos state Bolanle Ambode, former Cross Rivers state governor Donald Duke and his wife Onari, former Lagos state first lady Abimbola Fashola and many more. Mrs. Alakija is married to Modupe Alajika and is currently the group managing director of The Rose of Sharon Group and the executive vice-chairman of Famfa Oil Limited. She certainly has a lot to be thankful for apart from another year as in 2015, Forbes estimated her net worth to be $2.1 billion and ranked her as the second most powerful woman in Africa.
