The Egyptian giant showed him the exit door after he was unable to impress and his impact was not felt in his six months at the club.

The former Bayelsa goal poacher was unable to make it to the final 25-player squad when they had made their new summer signings, and he has no choice but to leave the Cairo-based club.

He made only a few appearances for the former Champions League winners after his celebrated signing in the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old player had reportedly suffered injuries, partly explaining his poor performances. He scored only one goal for the club.

Naij.com earlier reported that the contracts of the former Nigerian league players, Bernard Bulbwa and Kingsley Sokari, were terminated by Esperance FC of Tunisia.
